At the end of the day, Bolt is a sweet Disney family film, but Lasseter's oversight has made it smarter than it otherwise would have been.. Overall it's basically a crass marketing concept closer to Beverly Hills Chihuahua than a fully conceived work of art like Wall-E.. It wouldn't have hurt to spend some of that money to tell a story as original as the movie's design -- though I'm sure I speak for millions in thanking Disney for not including any stupid songs..
