Seems ... like a lesser version of what may be Pixar's two weakest efforts, the "Cars" movies.. "Maya the Bee" embodies the kind of self-consciously uplifting treacle some adults insist kids want. They package "Maya" like honey, but it tastes like medicine.. When you see Ponyo -- and you must -- be prepared for a movie that doesn't abide by Hollywood rules.
